2021 Serenbe Showhouse
— A Provocative Parlor
For the 2021 Serenbe Showhouse, we transformed a bonus room on the terrace level of the custom Rausch Ridge home into a contemporary take on a traditional parlor experience. Historically, the parlor is the social center of the home, used primarily for conversations and entertaining; a space that represents dignity, continuity and culture.
Dark walls and a custom dirty olive sectional set a moody tone, layered with textured rugs from Armadillo & Co and Jaipur and black wood tables from Bradley USA. A white Little Big lounge chair from Habachy, custom muted sage velvet bar stools, and muddy taupe glass sides tables offer a multitude of options to perch, sit or lounge on and admire the custom artwork by Stephen Shon & Sheyda Mehrara.
